We count the winner’s moves until checkmate: fewer is better. Ties use total plies, then record date. Against AI, only your wins qualify. Local games and assistance are labelled separately.

Castling, en passant and promotion choice are supported. Draws include stalemate, insufficient material, 75 moves or fivefold repetition; claim a draw after 50 moves or threefold repetition when the button appears. Learn with hints and undo; assistance is labelled in the ranking. AI levels do not represent an Elo rating.
